Event Volunteer




We are looking for Event Volunteers for our annual VCLAs, this is a high-profile event generally held at Government House. The successful candidate will be able to effectively work within a team of volunteers and is meticulous on the finer details. We are looking for expertise in one or more of the following qualities:

  • Communications

  • Administration

  • Event planning and aesthetics

  • Tech and Logistics


Leadership Victoria grows community leaders who stand out and change the world, starting here. Since it's inception, Leadership Victoria has graduated 374 participants who have completed 73 community action projects, leaving a tangible legacy in our community.

Training Details: An orientation to Leadership Victoria's structure, programs, and goals will be provided. You will work with the Board member who chairs the VCLA committee in planning this celebratory event.

​

Minimum Duration: 1 month - preferred a 4 month commitment.

​

Time Detail: Weekly meeting with volunteer team (virtual or in-person), weekly tasks, as well as the event itself.

​

Skills: team player, detail minded, community minded, ability to problem solve, networking
