Logistics Coordinator, Community Leadership Development Program
This nine-month volunteer position supports the learning environment for our Community Leadership Development Program. If you are interested in community leadership development, good at managing details of events or learning programs, and can commit to most or all of our workshop days, then please check out the position description below. We offer an opportunity to attend the in-class portion of our flagship program as a perk of this position. It is also an excellent volunteer position to practice job skills around event coordination and administration, and we are happy to provide a letter of reference for a volunteer who does a good job with this role.

Community Learning Day Planning Team, Community Leadership Development Program
Our program is delivered by volunteers with professional expertise in leadership and facilitation. These volunteers collaborate to design and host our orientation session, retreat, and ten Community Learning Days between September and May. We are looking for 4-6 people to join our Community Learning Day Planning Team, to complement the skill sets of current volunteers.

Please be aware that not all volunteers who apply may be a fit for the committee this year, based on the skill sets we have in place, and those we are currently in need of. However, all applicants will be contacted via email by the end of July to confirm their standing.

Leadership Victoria Society embraces volunteers as being fundamental to our vision, mission and very existence. You can expect that you will have an in-person or phone meeting with Leadership Victoria staff to determine your interests, capacity and availability. We will match you with a role that allows your interests and our needs to be mutually met. You can expect that we'll provide an orientation to your role and our organization; you'll meet other people passionate about community leadership; and you'll have an opportunity to do work that is meaningful to you and our organization. Leadership Victoria staff will provide you with feedback and give you a chance to give us feedback on our support of you as a volunteer as well.
