The Volunteer Opportunity

Join an energized team at LV supporting local charitable and service organizations to pivot through the pandemic.

The Resilient Leadership Program is for leaders navigating a crisis. Due to the impact of the pandemic, many local organizations are hurting. Some have closed permanently while many others are facing terribly difficult decisions. The increased vulnerability of small businesses, organizations, and not-for profits who serve the community has prompted the creation of this program to support local leaders.

LV is putting on an education series for local groups to gain leadership skills, protecting these vital community programs from shutting down. Find more detail about this program here:

Your Time Commitment

As a volunteer lead, you will be working closely and with Leadership Victoria for the planning and execution of this program. Planning for the 2021-2022 program begins this Fall and will involve logistical planning of itineraries and speakers, as well as marketing and recruitment of volunteers and organizations who may need our help. As the season launches, hours may fluctuate. An average of 5 hours a week can be expected, depending on your pace of work.

What You Can Contribute

This role can adapt to the skills of the volunteer. There will be opportunity for marketing, administrative tasks, communications with the wider community, scheduling and planning. LV is open to discuss where you might fit best as this is an emerging project.
