Local Victoria leadership meets local Victoria need
Our CAP projects are determined by the real needs of our annual partners and through the Vital Signs report card developed by the Victoria Foundation. Each team will be provided with a Community Action Project that will match a real need in our community.
Leadership Victoria is excited to announce our Community Action Project Partner is KidCareCanada. Based in Victoria KidCareCanada Society is a small organization, with BIG goals:
- Empower all families in BC to raise their children to be socially and emotionally healthy.
- Ensure families, and those who support them, have easy access to relevant current research.
KidCareCanada resources support parents, caregivers and professionals wanting to deepen their understanding of current research related to early nurturing, healthy brain development and social and emotional development. They bridge the gap between the science and the practice of early childhood development, and show ways to raise emotionally-healthy children.
