Leadership Victoria's Community Leadership Development Program is a transformative experience for leaders in Greater Victoria who want to stand out and change the world, starting here.

This years program!

This years program orientation is September 12th, 2019.  

The opening retreat is in October 5th and 6th at the Cowichan Lake Outdoor Education and Conference Centre. 

A strong list of local influencers coming to orientation or CLDs to share their stories of impactful leadership.

A "speed networking" event to meet local influencers in a casual setting in November. 

A fun evening at Confabulation on October 17th.  

The program will be completed on March 7th, 2020.

2019-2020 tuition rates are $2500.

Leadership Victoria is excited to announce our Community Action Project Partner is KidCareCanada.  Based in Victoria KidCareCanada Society is a small organization, with BIG goals: 

  • Empower all families in BC to raise their children to be socially and emotionally healthy.
  • Ensure families, and those who support them, have easy access to relevant current research.

KidCareCanada resources support parents, caregivers and professionals wanting to deepen their understanding of current research related to early nurturing, healthy brain development and social and emotional development. They bridge the gap between the science and the practice of early childhood development, and show ways to raise emotionally-healthy children.

WorkBC Workforce Training Grant

On June 3rd, WorkBC started accepting applications for the Workforce Training Grants for training start dates between September 1st and Dec 31st 2019.  Employers may be eligible to receive grant funding for 60% of the cost of the program.

Local Victoria leadership meets local Victoria need

Our CAP projects are determined by the real needs of our annual partners and through the Vital Signs report card developed by the Victoria Foundation. Each team will be provided with a Community Action Project that will match a real need in our community.
