There is an art to bringing volunteers on board, supporting them, and building a lasting win-win relationship. Are you seeking volunteers? Trying to find the right fit between volunteer talents & time, and your project’s needs & time constraints? Knowing what it is you need from your volunteer team, and communicating that vision forms the first step of strategic recruitment. Join Leanna Hill from Volunteer Victoria as you explore creative ways to recruit volunteers, and best practices in retaining volunteers.
By the end of this workshop, participants will:
- Walk away with creative ideas for strategic recruitment
- Be able to communicate their volunteer needs in a way that speaks to their audience
- Apply a framework of volunteer management best practices
- Identify next steps for building a sustainable volunteer team
