Leadership Victoria would like to send out a MASSIVE thank you to Massively Human Leadership!
Each year, leaders from local not-for-profit organizations apply to the Community Leadership Development Program and require financial assistance to participate. Supporters, like Kathleen Seeley at Massively Human Leadership understand the value of leadership development for NFP leaders and provide bursary sponsorship to allow those leaders to overcome the financial barrier that exists in the NFP sector.Read more
Team Coaches Needed for our Community Leadership Development Program
The Community Leadership Development Program is an intensive program designed to develop Community Leaders. It is a mix of online, classroom and experiential learning models.
A cohort of 25-30 learners receive facilitated learning of key leadership competencies. The cohort is divided into smaller teams of 5-6 people with each team supported by 1-2 Team Coaches. These coaches support the teams and the individuals throughout the learning cycle. Each team is assigned a real-life community action projects that will create outcomes and impact to our local communities.
This year we are partnering with a local community organization to create Thriving Children and Families. The time commitment is 6 learning days (Saturdays) and 1-2 hours/week.
We are recruiting 4-5 experienced coaches to join our volunteer team coaches. Orientation is provided.
Apply by clicking the link provided.
Deadline: August 15th.
We will be in touch with you as soon as we can after receiving your application. For more information please contact the Program Manager at email@example.com.
On June 12th, I had the pleasure of sharing our space with 17 engaged leaders, taking a deep dive into our personal values, and the collective values of our teams. I believe values to be the words we use to describe our deeply held beliefs. The beliefs that, at our core bring us joy, and sorrow, excitement and aggravation.
Our day started by sharing our attitude of gratitude. I like to start my workshops this way, as it brings such a positive vibe to the learning we are about to embrace.
Thank you all for your attendance at the sold out 2019 Victoria Community Leadership Awards. Our 15th annual celebration was an incredible opportunity to stop and highlight the wide range of community leaders that make Victoria the special place it is.
Particular thanks to Her Honour Lt Governor Janet Austin for her continued patronage of the VCLA awards and for generously opening her home for our winners, sponsors, family, friends and guests.
