With a BA in Social Anthropology & Sociology from Dalhousie University, Cleo has a strong interest in social development, philanthropy and policy. She is an active volunteer with TAPS and VIDEA, while currently working at the Children's Health Foundation of Vancouver Island

Jordan has worked at the local non-profit, Our Place Society for 10+ years. Starting out as a volunteer after graduating high school and continued to work there afterwards. He is ever so committed to bringing people together in a community through this challenging, but fulfilling work

Originally from Ottawa, Katherine moved to Victoria to be closer to family and attend Camosun College (Bachelors of Business Admin, HR major). She works for BC Public Service in the HR department and spends her free-time volunteering with Superheroes of Victoria

Kathryn has spent the last 22+ years working with her husband, building their construction company. She works part-time at the Cridge Women's Transition House while pursuing a degree in social work at UVIC. Her family of 4 are outdoor enthusiasts and love to run, bike, hike, ski and boat!

Completing a double-major in Biology & Psychology (UVIC), Roger is currently director of data infrastructure & management at the BC Ministry of Education. Before this position, he worked on a joint task fore between the Ministries of Social Development and, Child & Family development

Kathy spent many years working in Victoria's not-for-profit industry. She has a BA Child & Youth Care (UVIC) and also has a certificate in Leadership Development (Camosun). Since 2009, she is committee member of Lending Women, a women's group that meets to discuss pertinent issues facing women in leadership today

Manuela Lale

Born & raised in Vienne, Austria, Manuela has lived in Victoria since 1999. She has a strong background in the media world, having worked in Marketing for Austria's largest weekly news magazine. She is now with UVIC in their Human Resources Department

Sharde holds a BA in Psychology (UVIC) as well as a certificate in the foundations of volunteer management. She is an active volunteer, involved with CPHR BC & Yukon and as one of our board members. She is currently HR Manager at Victoria Women's Transition House

Linda Nobrega

Jessica Olsen

Linda works for the Provincial Government as an Archivist. She holds a Masters of Archival Studies (UBC) and a two Bachelor degrees in Archeology and Sociology/Anthropology. She is a cycling commuter and being on a bike brings her much joy

After attending UVIC, Jessica lived in London, UK for 10 years to complete her Masters and PhD in Neuroscience. She came back to Victoria in 2010 with her daughter, and now works as Senior Researcher Policy Analyst for the Ministry of Education (BC Gov)

Jonathan Ruhl

Jonathan graduated from an Applied Communications Program and now works as a Marketing & Communications Strategist at Camosun College. He loves to bike and explore neighborhood parks and trails with his three kids and wife

Tatum has 10 years of customer service and support experience from small locally owned businesses to call centers at large companies. She is currently a Customer Experience Specialist at Flow in Victoria

From Minnesota, USA, Brooke came to Canada to attend UBC to complete her major in International Relations & Hispanic Studies. Her studies led her to a year travelling Peru, Bolivia and Colombia, the power of human connection is what drives her to work for a community development sector

With a degree  (Douglas College) and partial masters (UVIC) in Child & Youth care, Tara is currently Youth Programs Coordinator at Quadra Village Community Centre. Working in this field for 12+ years, she is also an active volunteer, acting as steering committee member on Victoria's Youth Service Provider Network and Helping Youth Programs Excel Conference

A mechanical engineer by education (Queen's University), yet William's work is mostly construction of public civil infrastructure; his work has taken him to Guatemala and Haiti. He is currently a Project Manager at Pomerleau, where he undertakes the management of civil & industrial projects
