Community Leadership Development Program - Info Session May 3

Are you curious about the Community Leadership Development Program?

Here's an opportunity to get a preview of what the program is all about. We'll explore the principles and basic concepts behind our approach to community leadership development:

    • What is community leadership and how does it relate to workplace leadership?
    • What are the attributes and skills of community leaders?
    • How does the Community Leadership Development Program help you build your skills?
    • What kind of commitment does the program need from you, and how will you be supported in it?

    Benefits of the program:

    • Expand and deepen your networks in Greater Victoria – and become fearless at initiating new connections!
    • Develop new skills in working with teams, communication, facilitation, presentation.
    • Learn from current, active community leaders about what’s going on in Greater Victoria issues.
    • Design & create a community project with a lasting, positive impact on an issue or group that matters to you.

You'll be able to ask questions of the Executive Director, someone who has completed the program, and some of our volunteer facilitators.

    Celebration 2016

Please join us in celebrating our 16th class of the Community Leadership Development Program!

These inspiring, energetic, passionate leaders will present the stories and impacts of their Community Action Projects. You'll be amazed by how much they've accomplished and how thoughtfully they have created a legacy for the Greater Victoria community.

Be prepared to laugh a lot, smile a lot, and probably get a little dewy-eyed!

The two-hour graduation will be followed with a reception featuring tea sandwiches and finger foods, plus coffee, tea, and juices.

Tickets are limited, so please reserve your seat early.

Parking information here (check it out - parking will be tricky!)

Please consider supporting this event through a donation!
We want to make the Celebration an event that everyone can enjoy without barriers. However, Leadership Victoria runs on a lean budget as a non-profit organization. Instead of charging a ticket price for this celebration, we'd like to encourage you (if you're able) to consider making a donation to support our programming for next year. After you complete your registration, you'll be taken to a donation page where we suggest a donation of $25 to support the celebration, or more - it's up to you!
