Who We Are

Founded in 2000, Leadership Victoria is a community-based, volunteer-led non-profit organization committed to developing, supporting, recognizing and honouring outstanding community leaders. Over the last decade, we have become the "go to" organization for community leadership in Greater Victoria, completing nearly 40 community action projects and graduating more than 200 leaders from diverse backgrounds who continue to work to improve their community.

"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader."

-John Quincy Adams

Thanks to our funders the United Way of Greater Victoria, the RBC Foundation and RBC, and to our development partner Beth Page of Dream Catcher Consulting - commencing in January 2012 we will be offering three programs:

  • A half-day introduction to Collaboration -- a values-based approach
  • A one-day program Creating a Culture of Collaboration for Organizational Boards and Leaders and Senior Staff
  • A two-day experiential offering Developing a Collaboration Toolkit for those who are charged with carrying out unique collaborative partnerships.

We will be establishing pricing and delivery details very shortly for each of the three program types.  Watch this space for more information, OR email layla@leadershipvictoria.ca to record your interest and we will put you on the mailing list to receive all of the details.
